Non of the allies of the US were consulted  before this attack but the US decided to criticise its allies for not joining in what most regard as an illegal war. Much damage has been done to Irans military as well as civilian infastructure and the US and Israeli have depleted their stock of expensive weapons and aircraft and US soldiers lives have been lost.
