 I understand the unelected angel of the north is touring the country rather than the world. Will he be surprised that some of the SW's roads have mostly been surfaced and young peoples aspirations and expectations are not dissimilar from those in Manchester?

When politics for real resume in the autumn I think he will have as many enemies on the benches behind him as those in front? REFORM has laid down the challenge of making £50 billions of welfare cuts. How will he respond?

It looks like interesting times and there are still the wider world problems to address and leaders to meet.

Perhaps the north south divide has been replaced by an east west divide?
